Hello Steve!
I just found your page. Hope all is well with you. Amber, the kids and I are back in Naples, Italy for another tour with the Navy Band. We have a few more years here then, probably back to US. I'm a Chief now so I don't get to play as much as I used to, but I'm trying at maintain my chops for after retirement (which could be in a little under 3 years). Are you on Facebook?
Anyway, take care my friend!

Hi Steve,
How can I get one of your CD's? If you can tell me the amount and where to send the money, I would love to get a copy. Thanks.
Best regards,

Hi Steve,
I truly enjoyed discussing the trombone with you last night at the Fredonia Inn. I listened to your music samples on the coxbone website and was very impressed with your smooth style and relaxed translation. Gettin' Sentimental Over You is one of my favorite trombone pieces, and I often listen to Tommy Dorsey's version of it as I drift off to sleep at night. I received a new Bach megatone 5G mouthpiece in the mail today, and I think from my initial exposure to it that I am going to like it quite a bit better than the Remington I have been trying to play recently. After 42 years of letting the chops rest, I have my work cut out for me, but my lips are slowing beginning to remember what they once seemed to know so well. I only began playing again about 2 weeks ago, so I have a few hills to climb, but I am determined to do so. I am recently semi-retired. Our three children all got married last year (though they are six years apart, they decided for some reason to all get hitched the same year), and I now have time to pursue some of the endeavors I have avoided or neglected while I was working full time and raising a family. The horn is one of the things on which I want to focus.
I look forward to hearing you guys perform in the near future. Unfortunately, my wife and I are traveling next week to visit our daughter in Columbia, Missouri, so we want be around next Friday to hear you at the Fredonia. I didn't see any performances listed after October, so I guess the calendar on your website has not yet been updated beyond this month. I will check back. If you know your schedule for November and December, though, I would appreciate you letting me know.
Thanks again for the chat. I would love to talk more about the trombone and hear of some of your musical experiences in the future.
Best regards,
